Return to Play

FunTeam Alberta has used the Guidelines set out by Alberta Health Services to create a Return to Play document that we are confident can be carried out by by our affiliate groups in a safe and responsible manner. The safety of our membership and valued volunteers is of the utmost importance. As more information is made available, FunTeam will update our membership through the pandemic if certain protocols and procedures change.

Due to new COVID-19, province-wide restrictions announced by the Alberta Government, effective September 20th, 2021 FunTeam Groups must comply with all health restrictions as outlined by the most recent Health Order. The documents listed below are required for any FunTeam group and FunTeam paticipant (when applicable) to complete as a part of our registration for this season. No one will be allowed to participate in any FunTeam activity until these are completed and submitted. Please click on each form to learn more.

The novel coronavirus, COVID-19, has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization and COVID-19 is extremely contagious. FunTeam Alerta has provided guidelines in conjuncture with the guidlines released by Alberta Health Services measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19; however,  FunTeam Alberta cannot and does not guarantee that anyone that participates in activities will not become infected with COVID-19. Further, participating in any group activity and sports may significantly increase my risk of contracting COVID-19 and such exposure may result in temporary or permanent personal injury, illness, disability or death and I freely and voluntarily agree to assume all the foregoing risks.
